Armand GUILLAUMIN

A French painter and etcher, Armand Guillaumin was one of the first and most loyal members of the impressionist group.

In 1863 he met Paul Cézanne at the Swiss Academy and participated in the Salon des Refusés.

Drawing and painting from the motif, he was always drawn to water.

In 1892 he won in the National Lottery, which enabled him to devote himself to painting from then on. He withdrew to the department of Creuse, where he painted many landscapes.

His last works would have a similar character.
